Rev. Fa Jiàn was born and raised in Europe before moving to the United States where he is now head of the Lotus Zen Temple in Lincoln, Nebraska. He holds degrees in Philosophy, Theology and Montessori pedagogy and specializes in the fields of education, Eastern spirituality, and classical languages.
